Anastasia is an Applicant Advisor & Statement Coach whose role is assisting prospective UK students.
She provides guidance to prospective students regarding University and course selection and also provides invaluable one-to-one feedback on personal statements.
She obtained her Master of Engineering Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Western University in 2015. During her time at Western, she served as the VP External for the Graduate Engineering Society, acting as the liaison between engineering students and the governing and advocacy engineering bodies in Ontario. In partnership with the careers department, she also organized social events for graduate engineer students to expose them to the endless possibilities of careers that can be pursued with an engineering degree, and chaired a lecture series to engage students in the role of engineering in policy making in Ontario.
Anastasia is a strong advocate for pursuing international experience to enrich one’s academic journey towards a successful career. She participated in a graduate research exchange at the Laboratoire de Génie Chimique in Toulouse, France where she collaborated on solar research in French. Prior to graduate school, Anastasia obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo, during which she participated in a 4-month co-op at the university of Montpellier in France.
Anastasia finds great satisfaction in sharing her knowledge and expertise with others. Through tutoring and mentorship, Anastasia has made an impact on the success and self-reliance of students ranging from elementary to university levels.
