We’re a social enterprise driven by our mission to help students succeed, and we’re on the lookout for people who share our values and passion for the journey and success of students.

Specifically, we’re looking for entrepreneurial individuals, with experience in customer service, student advising, marketing, social media, CRM, event planning, and relationship management.

We want overachieving people who believe in the value of an international education and are committed to always putting student interests first.

Fluency in more than one language is desirable, but not essential.

Engagement Ambassador

If you are a student at a Canadian University, we want to talk to you!

We look for attitude, passion and focus, then train you up.

Engagement Ambassadors are student volunteers with Future Project who, for a minimum of 2 semesters, connect with students on their home campus to make them aware of Future Project’s mission, purpose, and free services.

We believe all our activities should help student development and personal growth. This means we will work with all our Engagement Ambassadors to set goals, and gain valuable skills. When you dedicate your time and efforts to be part of our team, we will dedicate our time and efforts so you get the most out of the experience.

Reasons to be an Engagement Ambassador:

  • Learn to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Development goal setting and measurement skills
  • Identify areas of strength and growth
  • Gain experience in events coordination and management
  • Outreach to your community
  • Activities can be customized – we welcome personal initiative.

In keeping with our mission to help students succeed, all Engagement Ambassadors that meet the mutually agreed upon goals receive a Future Project UK Study Scholarship.

Social Media Manager

Good isn’t good enough, we want to be excellent in everything we do and in every interaction – if you hold yourself to this same standard then we’d love to hear from you.

Are you a 3rd or 4th year marketing student aiming for a career in social media? Is your newsfeed buzzing with social media pro-tips and the latest social brand wins and fails?

Would you welcome the opportunity to be the voice of a student focused social enterprise? Are you able to commit 20 hours a month?

If your answer to those questions is “Yes” then you may be the person we’re looking for!

Social Media Manager will implement Future Project’s online community strategy, managing engagement and interactivity with its audience, and fostering community spirit. This role supports our mission to help students succeed, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong community around the brand.

Role of the Social Media Manager:

  • Content creator – this includes positioning content in under 140 characters, creating images to accompany posts, creating variations of posts for each piece of content, and even creating content from scratch specifically for growing a following on social media.
  • Analyst – this means digging into the data, analyzing that data, and drawing actionable insights.
  • News Junkie – this means knowing what people are saying, what’s changing on social networks and in the higher education industry, and being able to react and respond accordingly.
  • Student Representative – this means being able to communicate with people of different stages (for example, prospective students, parents, and students) and different dispositions.
  • Community Facilitator – this means building a following on social media that connects with each other in a positive way.
  • Funnel Marketer – this means sharing content that generates leads, and running new campaigns to find the best ways to do lead generation via social media.

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Graphic Design Skills (e.g. Photoshop)
  • Experience planning and executing paid social campaigns
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector
  • Customer service experience
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Comfortable working in a virtual team environment
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Google, and YouTube)

University Relationship Manager

If you have experience in the UK higher education sector, we want to talk to you!

The University Relationship Manager researches current sector trends, develops, and generates partnership opportunities. You will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding strategic goals set by Future Project.

We’re looking for someone with a strategic approach to building long-term partnerships that are consistent with our missional purpose, and someone who is able to bring value as a trusted advisor.

You will invest in making the universities we represent stronger and proactively seek out opportunities for growth. We are looking for someone who is always striving to learn from others and has a demonstrated rack record of putting the best interest of others first.

You will act as an internal University advocate to ensure they are set up for success.

Role of the University Relationship Manager:

  • Proactive selling and growing the account off-cycle is a key aspect of success. This is not just an Account Manager or renewals job. We are looking for a person who thrives on creating added value.
  • Elevate the overall University Partner experience.
  • We want our University Partners to not just work with us because we have the best recruitment solutions in the market, but also because they love doing working with us.
  • We have very strong purpose. Our university Relationship Manager must share our passion for student success.

International Student Advisor

We are looking for people with firsthand experience studying in the UK who are passionate about their experience and believe in our mission.

If you graduated with a good 2:1 degree or better, we’ll teach you the rest.

You’ll be on the front-line of engagement with Canadian students who want to study at a UK university.

Successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proactive self-starters, have a great attitude, and be technically competent.

Role of the International Student Advisor:

  • Conduct academic planning consultations with prospective students.
  • Supply accurate and appropriate information to each student.
  • Inform students about entrance, degree and accreditation requirements.
  • Find the best University and degree fit for each student.
  • Share your own experience studying in the UK and returning to Canada.
  • Always put the interests of students first.
  • We are growing fast and there is a lot to do around here! We expect our International Student Advisors to think like an owner and have an impact outside of the core function.

Must be a UK graduate and some customer service experience may be helpful but is not a prerequisite. If you speak another language fluently that is a bonus, particularly Punjabi, Hindi, or French!
